This simple, easy to install plug and play solar charging system includes most of the key items needed to install 40 watts of solar to support any equipment with a single or bank of 12v batteries.
• A ThermoLite Solar Charging System can provide significant benefits and return on investment to transportation companies from extending the life of your equipment’s batteries, fuel savings from decrease engine runtime as well as increased uptime and productivity.
• This kit includes a ThermoLite 40 watt solar panel, 5 amp patented automotive rated ThermoLite charge controller, a fused battery connection harness and installation hardware.
• Based on your application and installation requirements, you will need the appropriate sized extension harness (8′ 422405, 12′ 401293, 25′ 422406 or 50′ 422407) to complete the install.
• The ThermoLite solar panel is flexible and can be mounted to equipment using the included peel and stick adhesive and/or mechanically mounted using the integrated grommet holes.
• This base kit can be combined with the 401416 40 watt ThermoLite Solar Expansion panel kit to make up to a 80 watt system on a single controller.
